What good is a pub with no beer? The Dubliners once sang a song called 'Pub With No Beer' and it was rubbish. Just awful. What a prospect, right?
Luckily, we're one of those pubs where you're pretty much spoilt for choice. We run lines for all kinds; high street favourites that are advertised on telly as well as an enviable selection of Craft Beers and Ales, with frequent guest brews making their presence known. Check the boards indoors for updates on what's pulling and pouring.
Here's a few of our favourites.
A real lager. Not a pale ale by another name. Not a mass produced bottle of fizz. A well balanced, beautifully made, fully refreshing lager. Delicious.
Hops: Perle, Saaz, Huell Melon
Floral and juicy, Full of citrus from the finest US hops and deliciously refreshing. It brings the sun on a cloudy day. Delightful.
Hops: Admiral, Cascade, Chinook.
A full on IPA. A bit like head-butting a fruit bowl. Massive flavours of peach, melon and citrus. Operatic.
Hops: Mosaic, Chinook
A beer for everyday that is not an everyday beer. Packed full of hoppy flavours and aromas backed by a gentle maltiness. Dangerously drinkable.
Hops: Galena, Chinook, Zeus
A hop bomb without the booze. A beer that loves to please . Delivering flavour in abundance, but not too much to have a decent session. Grapefruit, fresh citrus and touch of forest pine. Bitter, but balanced.
Hops: Centennial, Cascade, Southern Cross, El Dorado
